Activating this protocol while the rest of the options in the list is enabled is not really possible.
This alternative is disabled for many people by default, and it usually gets them confused if they need to disable or enable it and, by doing that, how it can affect their connection or bandwidth. The Microsoft Network Adapter Multiplexor Protocol is listed in the ‘items this connection uses’ list for the Wi-Fi properties.
